A series of nano- indentation experiments and FEM simulations were conducted in order to select the right metals.
Polymer Selection & Validation of Specifications
Four polymer resins were chosen and tested. The choice was based on a specific set of selection criteria based on flow characteristics, density and adhesive properties.

Conclusions
Ensuring proper sealing and preventing the detachment of the polymer from the metal surface constituted the biggest technological challenges faced, due to both materials’nature and due to the product’s unique operating conditions. It has been tested according to ISO 9459-2:1995 for solar systems performance characterization and results show an enhanced thermal performance, as compared to conventional boilers.
